On February 20, 2025, Beijing time, BYD India signed an order with its Indian partner OGL (Olectra Greetech) for 2,000 electric bus chassis including K9,C9, and K7.At the same time,an additional order for 50 K7 chassis and 275 K9 chassis was added to the 750-unit order signed in August 2024. This cooperation not only reflectsthe deep trust between BYD and itscustomers, but also marks BYD's leading position and excellent product strength in the field of public transportation.
As of January31, 2025, 2,330 buses equipped with BYD electric buschassis have been operating in 35 cities in India, with a market share of 24%.Since the first batch of BYD electricbuses were put into operation in the Indian market in November 2017,the accumulated mileage has reached about 335,213,184 kilometers in the past 8 years, and the highest mileage of a single vehicle has reached 678,109 kilometers. BYD's electric buses have been stable in the Indian market for many years and have won unanimous praise from the market.
